The existing 4-inch-diameter cast iron (Fo. Fo.) pipe networks on FRANCISCO T. CANALES / JUAREZ STREET AND AV. LAURO VILLAR AVENUE and LAURO VILLAR AVENUE / FRANCISCO T. CANALES and ROBERTO F. GARCIA, COL. MODELO, using 4-inch-diameter PVC RD 21 pipe, to ensure the supply of this vital resource.

At the request of the residents of the area to be rehabilitated, we visited to assess its needs. We held a meeting with the residents, during which a committee was formed to oversee the project’s progress until its completion. In coordination with the JAD’s Water Culture Department, they assisted us in conducting surveys.
Diseño del Proyecto:
Rehabilitation of 344 ML of 4" PVC RD21 pipe, including the replacement of 27 service connections with 4" to half-inch bronze clamps.
Beneficiarios:
550 residents directly, but many more in the surrounding area.
Sostenibilidad:
Upon completion of the project, it is handed over to the Municipality of Matamoros, Tamaulipas, which, through the JAD, is responsible for ensuring its sustainability.
Colaboradores:
The Matamoros Professional Rotary Club and JAD will work together to raise awareness about water conservation.
