Equipment of the Cáritas Puebla Physical Rehabilitation Center

Project Objective:

Equip the Cáritas Puebla Physical Rehabilitation Center through the acquisition of specialized equipment to strengthen the quality of therapeutic services, with the purpose of increasing the number of patients treated based on the demand of vulnerable people in the state of Puebla.

Community Assessment:

The community served by the Cáritas Puebla Physical Rehabilitation Center faces multiple limitations that affect their physical and social well-being. A large portion of the population seeking services comes from vulnerable sectors with limited economic resources, which hinders their access to specialized and continuous rehabilitation treatments. Furthermore, the increase in chronic-degenerative diseases, musculoskeletal injuries, and post-surgical or neurological sequelae has generated a high demand that exceeds the center's current capacity for care.

Project Design:

Equip the Physical Rehabilitation Center with 19 specialized devices and train 3 professionals on the correct use of the equipment.

Direct Beneficiaries:

With the specialized equipment, the service capacity will increase by 100%, reaching 7,804 monthly therapies. This will allow for more patients to be treated simultaneously and significantly reduce waiting times. This project will primarily benefit individuals living in poverty and those without social security, facilitating a comprehensive functional recovery that enables them to resume their family, work, and community activities with greater autonomy and independence.

Sustainability:

This project will be sustained through minimal recovery fees for therapies—or provided free of charge when necessary—with resources allocated toward maintenance and the replacement of consumables. These funds will also cover the compensation of the technical professionals providing the therapies.
Long-term Results: The project is designed to be self-sustaining, as the revenue generated from therapies will cover maintenance costs and consumables, ensuring operational stability and optimal functioning. We guarantee 10 years of continued service.

Evaluation and Monitoring:
